Is it your dream to walk the runway during Toronto Fashion Week? Dare to Wear Love, in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation, challenges you to wear red throughout the month of February and fundraise to claim your spot on the catwalk during Toronto Fashion Week.

The three individuals who raise the highest amount will be outfitted in a custom design by SusanDicks & Co. and walk the runway at the Dare to Wear Love gala fashion event Friday, March 16, 2012, the closing show of World MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto.

Dare to Wear Love is an annual fashion gala and fundraiser started by 25 top Canadian fashion designers including Hoax Couture, Comrags, Brian Bailey, Lida Baday and David Dixon. In partnership with the Fashion Design Council of Canada, Dare to Wear Love raises funds and awareness for grassroots organizations that are turning the tide of HIV and AIDS in Africa.

Here’s where you come in: Join the Dare to Wear Red team and style yourself in red throughout the month of February.  Whether you style yourself in a complete outfit or just accessorize in red, show your love by wearing it every day. Then, get your friends, family and your whole social network involved by fundraising so you can hit the catwalk alongside Canada’s top names in fashion. You even get to keep your outfit!

Better hurry because the winner will be decided on March 1, 2012. So, are you ready to wear red? We dare you!

* Participants are responsible for their own transportation costs to Toronto for outfit fittings and for the Dare to Wear Love gala. Winners will be outfitted at least one week before the gala.
